Step back into the Roaring Twenties at Dancing Under the Chandeliers: The Great Gatsby Swing. Held in the opulent Promenade Ballroom of The Saint Paul Hotel, this elegant evening of swing dancing captures the glamour, sophistication, and sparkle of a classic Gatsby-era soirée—celebrating the hotel’s 116th anniversary with this historic and timeless event.
Start the night with a swing dance lesson from 6:30–7:00 PM, taught by Dancers Studio, perfect for beginners and seasoned dancers alike. From 7:00–9:00 PM, the ballroom comes alive with the bold, brassy sound of the 17-piece Westwind Swing Band, delivering irresistible big-band rhythms worthy of the era.

Dress to Dazzle:

Join us for a magical morning where princesses learn how to behave like royalty. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their favorite princess attire as there will be a promenade and photo opportunity. While princesses sip tea and indulge in dainty delicacies, Julie Frantz of Everyday Etiquette, will share how to act like a lady, what it takes to be a good friend, dine like royalty, and how to let your inner beauty shine out. Songs, stories, and crafts will fill this whimsical and wonderful morning. Perfect for ages 5-10 years old. Adult must attend with child and purchase a ticket. The most important place to use good manners is at home. Julie Frantz, etiquette consultant at the Saint Paul Hotel, will cover the 8 R’s of getting along with family as participants enjoy a lovely three course dinner. Attributes such as; responsibility, respect, and resourcefulness will be covered.

Go to the next level in professional success with this advanced Business Etiquette Class. This two hour dining tutorial will offer a quick recap of previously learned material and cover the following topics:

* Cultural sensitivity - traveling abroad
* The business phone - leaving a messages, greetings, and office voicemails
* Electronic communication
* Getting along with those you work with- from co-workers to supervisors
* Customer retention and how to deal with upset customers

This two-hour event is fashioned after England's afternoon tea while a pianist entertains you throughout. Reservations are prepaid, NON-REFUNDABLE, and include tax and gratuity. One reservation transfer is permitted with at least 48 hours’ notice. If the number of tickets you’re seeking is unavailable, we’re unable to seat your entire party together on that date. Please call for groups of more than nine guests or to be added to a waitlist. Our menu changes seasonally. We have a separate menu to accommodate dietary restrictions for Gluten-Free/Vegetarian/Dairy-Free/Vegan guests.
